Another Night In · ANI Games
Player Terms and Conditions
Version 2 supplied October 18, 2026 · Updated October 21, 2026 (restricted locations) · Effective when published at anothernightin.com/terms
1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) form an agreement between you and Jocelyn Mahan, operating ANI Games as Another Night In (ANI Games, we, us or our). They govern https://anothernightin.com/, its mobile web app, games, player accounts, virtual coins, competitions and related services (Service). Business licensing and partnership arrangements require separate agreements.
By selecting an acceptance checkbox or equivalent confirmation presented with these Terms, you agree to them. You must accept these Terms before registering, purchasing Coins or entering a competition. Game instructions and the official rules displayed before entry, including any applicable Cash-Out Rules and Tournament Rules (collectively, Contest Rules), also apply. Contest Rules control contest-specific details but cannot override applicable law or the payment and consumer protections in these Terms. Our Privacy Notice explains our data practices.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and the age of majority where you live, if higher, and legally capable of entering this agreement. Access to the website does not establish eligibility for a cash competition.
Restricted locations. Cash payments for skill, including the Cage board and Cage bar, are open to players in the United States and other countries, except as listed here. Residents of Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, South Carolina, South Dakota and Tennessee, and residents of countries under broad United States sanctions (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia and Belarus), may play the games but may not sign up for the Cage board or receive a cash payment. Players outside the United States are responsible for following their local laws and may be asked for a W-8BEN or other tax form before payment. You must tell us your home country, and US state if applicable, truthfully when signing up for the Cage board, and we may verify your residence and location under Section 3 before any payment. We may add or remove restricted locations as laws change and will show the current list on the Cage page.
ANI Games personnel, contractors involved in operating or testing a competition, their immediate families and household members may not win prizes. Additional contest-specific exclusions apply as disclosed before entry.
3. Accounts and verification
You may hold one personal account and must provide accurate, current information. Accounts cannot be shared, sold or used on another person’s behalf. Protect your credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for losses caused by your breach of these security obligations, subject to applicable law.
We may ask for identity, age, residence, location, payment ownership and tax information where we reasonably need it, requested on a case-by-case basis rather than from every player. Contest Rules for a competition will state whether verification is required to enter or to be paid in that competition. Submit sensitive documents only through the secure method we designate. We may restrict affected features while verification is outstanding and explain what is required. Verification information is handled under our Privacy Notice.
4. Coins and promotional credits
“Coins” are virtual gameplay credits used within the Service under a limited, personal, nontransferable license. We separately identify purchased Coins, promotional Coins and Confirmed Cash Awards in our records. Coins are not bank deposits and earn no interest. Coins do not automatically carry a right to cash redemption. Any cash prize or Coin redemption must be expressly offered through an enabled feature under the applicable Contest Rules. Those rules must disclose eligible balances, any conversion formula, restrictions, fees and payment deadlines before the qualifying purchase or competition entry.
Eligibility for any paid cash-out program offered through the Service requires a verified purchase within the purchase-eligibility period published in the applicable Contest Rules. That period must specify the qualifying dates and time zone for the October 10, 2026 platform update. Promotional, signup, daily, referral, affiliate, coupon and other free Coins do not qualify as purchased Coins. Players using only free Coins are ineligible for this paid cash-out program. When you make your first Coin purchase, any free Coins in your balance (including anything won with them) are cleared, and your balance starts fresh with the Coins you buy. Coins won and Cage progress count only from that point. These restrictions do not extinguish previously accrued contractual or statutory rights.
Buying Coins, reaching a balance threshold, entering the Cage or achieving a score does not alone create a cash award. Existing Coins do not automatically become cash-redeemable when a new program launches. These Terms do not extinguish accrued contractual or statutory rights.
Bonus, coupon, referral and affiliate credits may have limits or expiry dates disclosed when issued. No new restriction applies retroactively to an earned cash award. Coins and accounts may not be traded or transferred except through an authorized feature. We may correct documented errors or abuse with notice and a reasonable explanation.
5. Purchases and refunds
Before payment, we display the Coin quantity, total price in U.S. dollars, and all applicable taxes and fees. You authorize us to charge only the displayed total to a payment method you are entitled to use. Price and package changes apply prospectively. Purchased Coins are delivered when credited to your account and are consumed when used for the relevant gameplay or entry. Purchases are generally final, subject to applicable law and the refund rights stated in these Terms. Contact support about unauthorized, duplicate, failed or incorrectly supplied purchases. We will refund amounts legally due and charges for services we cancel without supplying an alternative remedy you accept. An approved refund may reverse the corresponding unused Coins and associated bonuses, without affecting unrelated balances or valid awards. A disputed payment may justify a proportionate hold on related credits while investigated. Exercising a lawful chargeback or consumer right does not itself justify forfeiture of unrelated funds or awards.
6. Cash skill competitions and the Cage
ANI Games may offer cash prizes through designated skill competitions where the actual game mechanics, entry arrangements and prize structure comply with applicable law. Cash competitions and cash-outs are available only through features expressly enabled in the Service and governed by complete Contest Rules published before entry. Participation and payment remain subject to the eligibility, verification and withdrawal requirements in these Terms and the applicable Contest Rules. Availability of a feature does not establish that participation is lawful in every location.
Purchased Coins, redeemable balances and credits used for cash-prize eligibility must not be staked on chance-based games. Other uses of Coins in games involving chance require separate legal review before being offered. Chance-based gameplay must not be required to access or qualify for a cash competition.
The “Cage” is the Service’s skill-challenge and tournament area. Its published access threshold is currently a balance of 500 Coins. Any cash-equivalent value attributed to that balance must be expressly defined in the applicable Contest Rules before participation. Reaching the Cage does not, by itself, establish an immediately payable $500 award.
Standard leaderboard cash-outs are available only to eligible paying players who satisfy the Cage requirements and achieve first place on the relevant game’s leaderboard at the determination time specified in its Contest Rules. The rules must identify the scoring period, qualifying score, tie-break procedure, whether repeated cash-outs are permitted, and when eligibility becomes fixed. Any initial target score must be clearly identified as a qualifying target rather than represented as another player’s score.
The maximum standard leaderboard cash-out is ten times the qualifying paid purchase amount defined in the applicable Contest Rules. Those rules must identify which purchase or purchases determine that amount and how eligible cash winnings are calculated. The cap limits the amount payable; it does not guarantee a payment equal to ten times a purchase.
Weekly tournaments are separate competitions involving an additional entry charge. Before entry, the Tournament Rules must state the exact charge in U.S. dollars and Coins, whether those amounts represent the same charge, the selected game, opening and closing times, and the scoring and tie-break procedures. Fifty percent of each qualifying paid tournament entry charge will be allocated to the advertised tournament prize pool. The rules must explain the treatment of the remaining fifty percent, refunded or reversed entries, any minimum participation requirement and any guaranteed prize. The highest eligible verified scorer wins the advertised prize under those rules. Any tournament cap must be disclosed before entry and cannot be introduced later to reduce an accepted entry’s prize rights.
Tournament entry disables standard leaderboard cash-out eligibility only to the extent clearly disclosed and expressly accepted before the entry charge is taken. This restriction does not forfeit Confirmed Cash Awards, refunds due or unrelated amounts already owed. The Tournament Rules must explain its duration and how eligibility may be regained by re-entering the Cage and achieving a qualifying leaderboard position outside the tournament. No additional purchase or gameplay may be required merely to receive an award already confirmed.
No cash competition will accept entries until its complete Contest Rules are published. Those rules must disclose eligible locations and ages, purchase eligibility, eligible Coin types and values, entry charges and debit order, operator fees, prize calculations, verification requirements, withdrawal methods, limits, fees and deadlines, and cancellation and technical-failure procedures.
Contest conditions and prize calculations are fixed when an entry is accepted. Changes cannot reduce an existing entry’s advertised rights. Continued tournament participation must not be selected automatically. Confirmed withdrawable awards cannot be put at risk again without a separate, lawful entry and express consent.
7. Cash awards and withdrawals
Cash-out eligibility is subject to verification of the qualifying purchase, eligible Coin balance, game result, leaderboard position and applicable Contest Rules. Your account identity must match the relevant payment records, subject to a reasonable process for correcting errors or supplying alternative proof of purchase. We may require identification and other verification under Section 3. A star beside your Coin balance indicates that the system has identified potential cash-out eligibility; it is not itself confirmation of a payable award. Automated eligibility checks remain subject to correction, and you may request manual review of an incorrect or missing indicator. We will conduct verification reasonably and will not delay confirmation merely to avoid payment.
A “Confirmed Cash Award” is a cash prize validated under the applicable Contest Rules and recorded separately in U.S. dollars. Payment will be made through a supported method to an account held in your verified name. Before entry, the Contest Rules will state separate verification and payment deadlines, when each deadline begins, supported payment methods, withdrawal limits and fees. They will also explain any permitted extension, its reason and how you will be notified. Later changes cannot worsen the payment terms of an accepted entry. No additional purchase, undisclosed release fee or further gameplay is required to receive a Confirmed Cash Award.
We may hold only amounts reasonably connected to suspected fraud, verification issues, payment reversals or a legal restriction. We will explain a hold and provide updates unless legally prohibited. We must release unaffected amounts and resolve holds without undue delay. Taxes are your responsibility; we may request required tax forms, report payments and withhold only as required by law. Cash awards do not expire merely through inactivity; applicable unclaimed-property requirements apply.
Before accepting entries, ANI Games will ensure that the advertised prizes can be funded. Payment of a Confirmed Cash Award is not conditional on future revenue, additional player purchases or our subsequent assessment of affordability. Internal revenue allocations do not reduce an amount already owed. Any payment hold must satisfy the grounds and safeguards stated in this section.
8. Promotions
ANI Games does not run sweepstakes or random drawings. Any future promotion will be governed by its own rules, published before it opens.
9. Fair play and prohibited conduct
You must not cheat, collude, falsify identity or location, manipulate scores, exploit errors, create duplicate accounts, self-refer for bonuses or use stolen payments. Bots, scripts, macros, unauthorized gameplay assistance, malware and security circumvention are prohibited. Accessibility tools are permitted where they do not automate competitive decisions or create an unfair advantage; contact support if compatibility is uncertain.
Do not harass others, infringe third-party rights, disrupt the Service, access another person’s data, or reverse engineer protected software except where law permits. We may review relevant gameplay and transaction records and apply proportionate remedies supported by reasonable evidence. Prize disqualification must relate to the affected competition or misconduct and remains subject to review under Section 10.
Receiving or using legitimately issued promotional Coins is not, by itself, cheating, although those Coins may be ineligible for the paid cash-out program. Fraudulently obtaining Coins, falsifying their purchase status or deliberately using an exploit to obtain cash-out eligibility is prohibited. Disqualification or forfeiture must be supported by reasonable evidence of an identified rule violation, with notice and an opportunity for review where practicable. General administrator discretion or an undefined allegation of unsportsmanlike conduct is not, by itself, a basis for withholding an otherwise valid award.
10. Errors cancellations and complaints
Our records are evidence of entries and results but may be corrected for demonstrated error. Report an issue promptly with your account identifier, game, date, time and available evidence. We will investigate fairly, explain the outcome and provide a reasonable opportunity to challenge it. Our administrative decision does not limit your legal remedies.
If an operator-side failure materially compromises a competition, we may restore fair play, rerun affected entries under equivalent conditions without an additional charge, or cancel those entries. If a fair result cannot be established, we will restore the affected entry charge. If operator cancellation or discontinuation prevents further use of the restored purchased Coins, we will refund the amount paid for those Coins unless you accept another remedy. Player-side connection or device failures are governed by the rules disclosed before entry. Corrections or reversals for a verified technical or display error will be limited to materially affected entries, balances or results. Unaffected entries and valid awards remain enforceable.
11. Suspension closure and responsible play
You may stop playing or request account closure or a play restriction through support. Spend only what you can afford; participation is entertainment and offers no assured income. We will explain the scope and duration of any restriction you request and apply it as confirmed. We may proportionately suspend or close an account for a material breach, suspected fraud, security concerns or legal necessity. We will give reasons and an opportunity to respond where practicable, except where urgent action or law requires otherwise. Closure does not itself cancel confirmed awards, refunds due or unrelated funds. Any forfeiture must be lawful, supported by an identified rule violation and limited to amounts materially affected by that violation. Tournament participation alone does not justify forfeiture of a previously confirmed award or unrelated balance.
On voluntary account closure, unused promotional Coins may be cancelled, while unused purchased Coins remain subject to the purchase and refund provisions of these Terms. Accepted entries will be resolved under their applicable Contest Rules. Confirmed Cash Awards and refunds due remain payable after required verification; an ordinary minimum withdrawal threshold will not prevent final settlement on closure. If we permanently discontinue a paid feature and purchased Coins cannot be used for it or an alternative you accept, we will refund their unused purchase value. These provisions remain subject to lawful holds, justified forfeiture under this section and applicable unclaimed-property requirements. Payment obligations and provisions intended to survive remain effective after closure.
12. Intellectual property content and privacy
ANI Games or its licensors own the Service, software, artwork, music, names and branding. We grant you a personal, noncommercial license to use them through the Service in accordance with these Terms. No ownership transfers. You may share clips of your own gameplay for personal purposes without implying our endorsement or exposing another person’s private information.
You retain ownership of submitted content and grant us only the license reasonably needed to display it and operate, secure and support the Service. Publicity using your identity or gameplay requires separate permission unless already authorized by you or legally required. Private support messages and verification documents are not licensed for advertising. We may use voluntary feedback without compensation. Personal information, cookies and third-party sign-in are addressed in the Privacy Notice and applicable consent controls.
13. Third party services and availability
Payment, hosting, authentication and other providers may apply their own disclosed terms. Third-party links and advertisements are not endorsements. We are not responsible for independent third-party conduct outside our control, but remain responsible for our own contractual and statutory duties. Maintenance and outages may affect availability; affected paid entries and awards remain governed by Sections 7 and 10.
14. Warranties and limits of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS OR WINNINGS. THESE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT OVERRIDE AN EXPRESS PRIZE, REFUND OR PAYMENT OBLIGATION.
To the extent permitted by law, ANI Games is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and the cap do not apply to confirmed awards or refunds owed, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing waives mandatory consumer, privacy, statutory recovery or other nonwaivable rights.
15. Third party claims
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify ANI Games for reasonable losses and legal costs resulting from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful content, fraud or intentional material breach of these Terms. This obligation excludes loss caused by our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct. We will give prompt notice and reasonable cooperation; no settlement may impose an admission, payment or other obligation on you without your consent, not to be unreasonably withheld.
16. Governing law and disputes
Washington law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory protections applicable to you. Please first send support a written description of a dispute and the remedy requested. Both parties will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. This process does not prevent urgent relief, regulatory complaints, small-claims proceedings or filing needed to preserve a legal deadline.
Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rights and eligible small-claims proceedings, unresolved disputes must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts having jurisdiction in King County, Washington, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive any nonwaivable right to collective or representative relief.
17. Changes to terms and contests
We may amend these Terms prospectively. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or a prominent account notice at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a shorter period is reasonably necessary for law or security. We will request renewed acceptance where required. If you decline, you may stop using the affected features and request closure without losing accrued payment or refund rights. Existing entries remain governed by the rules accepted at entry.
18. General provisions and contact
These Terms and the applicable pre-entry rules constitute the agreement concerning player use and replace earlier terms prospectively. If a provision is invalid, it will be severed or narrowed only as law permits; the remainder continues in effect. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or agreement without consent. We may transfer the business and this agreement only with preservation of accrued rights and notice where required. Events outside reasonable control may excuse performance to the extent permitted by law, but do not automatically extinguish accrued payments or mandatory refunds. Electronic notices may be sent to your registered email or account, subject to applicable law.
